Whale Watching Season

From late July to early November more people are taking the opportunity to celebrate the magnificent mammals of the deep. With the choice of half day or full day tours on a variety of vessels, you can experience the antics, personality and awesome size of the whales.

Awesome in Size and Behaviour

Growing to up to fifteen metres in length and weighing up to 45 tonne, a single whale can be equivalent to eleven elephants or 600 people. However a whale’s massive size does not stop them from enjoying their ocean habitats.

Whales are very active creatures; regularly perform a variety of behaviours. Pectoral slapping, tail flapping, breaching, and diving will amaze any spectator especially as they are performed by the true giant of the seas, the mighty whales.
